In an effort to prevent the spread of H1N1 virus, Temple Shalom Nursery School is implementing the following policy, which is consistent with the policy of the Lewiston/Auburn public schools:

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL if your child's symptoms include a fever of 100 degrees or higher, coughing, runny nose, vomiting or headache.

Students must stay out of school until their temperature has been normal for 24 hours...without the use of Tylenol or other medications.

We urge you to have your child vaccinated as soon as it's available.

A hand sanitizer dispenser has been placed on the wall between the art room and classroom. We ask that EVERYONE entering the classroom use the dispenser or wash their hands.

It is important to teach your children to cough/sneeze into their elbows, to wash hands frequently and not to share cups, utensils or water bottles with anyone.

If you have any question that your child may be ill with the flu, please err on the side of caution and think carefully before sending your child to school.

Please drop off and pick up children as close to your time slot. 9:00 and 12:00 for regular. 8:00 - 9:00 and 2:00 for extended.  Thank you.

Please take a few minutes to read the bulletin board (located in the hallway) each day.

The semi-circle in front of the Main entrance is for handicap and emergency vehicles only. Please park in the parking lot.

 Don’t forget to save your used ink jet cartridges. We will use the funds from these to purchase computer software. A carton is kept in the hallway for your convenience.
